Consulting — Strategy Session
Clarity in one session: honest diagnosis and concrete direction to choose your next step in Colombia.
We meet, review your social channels, spot opportunities and I hand you an action plan. Ideal to map the path with clarity before producing content or hiring monthly management.
A direct answer if you're looking for strategic consulting in Colombia
If you searched for social media consulting, digital advisory or a strategy session to decide how to invest in content in Colombia, this is the most honest entry point I offer.
It is not a post package. It is not community management dressed up as strategy. It is one focused meeting with me — with prep before and a deliverable after — where we review what you have today, identify real opportunities and build an action plan you can execute calmly.
I've supported consumer and retail brands in contexts where organic content actually moves the needle: Coca-Cola, Starbucks, H&M, TOTTO, Cine Colombia and experiences within the Parque Alegra ecosystem in Barranquilla, with results such as +1.3M organic views on retail campaigns. That background doesn't mean your brand needs the same volume; it means I know how to read what works in short-form content and what is noise.
What the strategy session is
The strategy session is concentrated digital consulting. I work as a content strategist, not as your account operator.
The flow:
- You share business context and commercial goals.
- We review your social channels together (or the absence of them).
- We spot gaps, opportunities and risks.
- We prioritize actions by impact vs. effort.
- I deliver an action plan you can use immediately.
I don't sell hype or viral promises. I sell clarity — the same clarity you need before hiring production, a community manager or an agency offering "12 posts per month" without asking why.
Who it's for
This service fits especially well if you recognize yourself here:
- Entrepreneurs and SMEs in Colombia who post often but don't see business results.
- Personal brands (consultants, coaches, creatives) who want to fix their message before scaling production.
- Small marketing teams that need expert second opinion before presenting an internal plan.
- Local businesses (retail, food, services) comparing a cheap CM vs. investing with judgment.
- Brands that already have a community manager but suspect strategic direction is missing upstream.
- Founders about to launch who prefer a compass before spending on cameras, editors or ads.
If you already know the direction and only need hands to execute, content strategy or monthly management may fit better. The session is for when the main question is: what do we do, and in what order?
What problem it solves
In Colombia, searches for "community manager", "content creation" and "digital consulting" grow every year. The pattern I see repeatedly:
- Posting without objective. Pretty, consistent, irrelevant to sales.
- Copying viral formats without adapting them to brand or buyer.
- Fragmented vendors: one designs, another edits, nobody connects to business.
- Hiring cheap and receiving a generic calendar that could belong to any brand.
- Analysis paralysis: months thinking, zero pieces published.
The strategy session hits step zero: decide with data and judgment before executing.
Step-by-step process
1. Preparation (before the meeting)
I send a short questionnaire: sector, average ticket, commercial goal for the quarter, active platforms, available team and rough budget. I also ask for read access to profiles or screenshots if you don't have a presence yet.
That lets me arrive with preliminary observations — not to judge, but to use our time well.
2. Live session (90–120 minutes)
By video call we review:
- Channel diagnosis: visual consistency, frequency, hooks, CTAs, bio, highlights.
- Audience and competition: who follows you vs. who should, what your category does in Colombia.
- Existing content: what to keep, archive or repeat with improvements.
- Simple funnel: awareness → consideration → conversion for your business model.
- Quick wins: low-effort actions with visible return in 2–4 weeks.
The conversation is direct. I'd rather tell you your feed is messy than hand you a plan you won't execute.
3. Action plan delivery
Within a few days you receive a summary document with:
- Main findings from the diagnosis.
- Prioritized opportunities (max 5–7 focus areas).
- Format and platform recommendations.
- Concrete next steps: what you do, what to outsource, in what order.
- Suggested next service if relevant (no hard sell).
What's included
- Pre-session questionnaire and public profile review.
- Live strategy session (90–120 min).
- Channel diagnosis and commercial opportunity mapping.
- Written action plan after the session.
- Orientational recommendations on tools, metrics and cadence.
- One brief email clarification round on the deliverable (7 days).
What's not included
To avoid surprises when quoting:
- Production or editing → see content production.
- Full strategic document (deep buyer persona, multi-month calendar, detailed pillars) → see content strategy.
- Publishing, community care or full-month operations → see monthly management.
- Paid media or ads setup.
- Legal, accounting or pricing audits for your business.
- Additional sessions without booking another block.
The session gives direction; deep execution lives in other services or your internal team.
Expected outcome
When we're done you should be able to answer, without doubt:
- Why am I on social, and what am I NOT chasing this quarter?
- Which platform do I prioritize and why?
- What content type moves me toward sales, bookings or leads?
- What can I do myself this week without hiring anyone?
- Does it make sense to hire production, documented strategy or monthly management — and in what order?
The outcome isn't a pretty PDF nobody reads. It's informed decision-making. Many clients in Colombia use the session to align a partner, team or accountant before signing a monthly content contract.
Why start here (and not the other way around)
I've seen brands invest heavily in premium editing with footage that has no message. I've also seen entrepreneurs pay generic CMs who post motivational quotes while inventory doesn't move.
Starting with strategy — even in session format — sets the right order: think → produce → measure, not the reverse.
If after the session you want the full strategic document, the session fee is partially credited toward content strategy. I'll confirm that in the commercial proposal.
How it feels to work with me in this format
Clear conversation, honest diagnosis and zero agency posturing. I speak Colombian Spanish with clients locally; in English sessions I keep the same direct tone with real brand examples when they add context — always with transparency that in ecosystems like Parque Alegra, brands are mall tenants and there isn't always a direct contract with each one.
I don't promise virality. I promise you'll leave with more clarity than you arrived with.
How to get started
- Review the services hub to place this plan vs. strategy, production and management.
- Write me via contact with: sector, city, current channels and the decision you need to make.
- I'll reply with availability, investment in COP and the pre-session questionnaire link.
- We schedule the session and, days later, you receive your action plan.
To compare investment ranges before writing, read community manager rates in Colombia and how to hire a digital strategist.
For organic return expectations, I also recommend ROI of organic content — especially if you're wondering whether content without ads is worth it.
Next step by situation
| Your situation | Recommendation after the session |
|---|---|
| You need a strategic document for your team | Content strategy |
| You know what to shoot; editing is missing | Content production |
| You want the full month operated | Monthly management |
| You only needed point clarity | Execute the plan yourself or with your current team |
The strategy session doesn't lock you in. It gives you the compass to invest better in Colombia — with commercial intent, not impulse.
FAQ
Is this the same as a monthly community manager plan?
No. The strategy session is one-off consulting: a deep meeting, diagnosis and action plan. It does not include production, publishing or daily management. If you want ongoing operations later, you can move to content strategy, production or monthly management.
What do I leave with?
Clarity: a review of your current channels, commercially relevant opportunities, prioritized next steps and a written action plan you can execute yourself, with your team or with me on another service.
How long is the session and what format?
The main session runs 90–120 minutes by video call. Beforehand you receive a short questionnaire and share links to your profiles. Afterward you get a written summary with agreements and next steps.
Does it work if I'm just starting on social?
Yes — often the best moment. You avoid posting blindly for three months and rebuilding later. We define where to start, which platform to prioritize and what not to do yet.
Can I book only the session without committing to more?
Absolutely. Many brands in Colombia use the session to align partners, teams or budgets. There is no obligation to continue with another plan.
How is this different from hiring a generic community manager?
A commodity CM usually sells posts and replies for a flat monthly fee. Here I don't operate your account — I think with you. The session answers 'what should we do and why?' before you spend on production or a junior profile posting without direction.
Do you work with brands outside Medellín?
Yes. I work with clients in Bogotá, Cali, Barranquilla, smaller cities and remotely. Video format works the same; what matters is access to your metrics and content history.
